As part of the library holdings of the Museum is situated about 8500 titles of professional periodicals, monographs, exhibition catalogs. A special place is occupied by various museum publications, obtained an inter-museum exchange, NMSP editions, and monographs as well as editions that represent the economical and cultural-historical development of Palanka and its vicinity. Within the library, there is a legacy of Momcilo Milovanovic - a collection of about 1,000 books in various areas, including the valuable editions and literary works of the most famous domestic and foreign classics. The library is closed-type and there is an ongoing electronic processing of library holdings. Legat Momcilo Milovanovaića museum library recently enriched with an extremely valuable legacy from sculptor Momcilo Milovanovic. In fact, in 2016, Mrs. Ute Milovanovic, donated the museum the private library of her husband, born in Palanka, around 1000 catalog units from various fields: history, economics, art, philosophy (Hegel, Nietzsche, Kant ...), literature and so on. Soley edition of Serbian Literary Cooperative has about 200 titles. Beside the works of contemporary literature, the Legacy was represented and collected works of Vuk Karadzic, Stevan Jakovljevic, J. J. Dragon, Ducic, Cosic Skerlića, Nušića, Njegoša, M. Gorky, Dostoyevsky, Chekhov and many other classics of Serbian and foreign literature. Sculptor Momcilo Milovanovic was born in Smederevska Palanka in 1921. This eminent artist, abstract provenance, with the raw creative power and restless spirit, under unusual circumstances, found himself in Paris in the sixties of the 20th century. After completing his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade, Bounce on the sculpture (graduated in the class of Elijah Kolarevic a post-graduate study ends in 1958 with the Sreten Stojanovic), Milovanovic's life path took him to France, where he spent the rest of life. Noted by connoisseurs and admirers of art in France has achieved significant artistic career. He has exhibited at many art salons of Paris, individually and collectively in important galleries in France, but also in Germany, Greece, Canada, Spain, Belgium, Serbia.
